I heart this teacher so hard

No matter our disagreements in education, there should be one universal truth: students do not get credit for work they haven't done.But wait, there is something I've never heard of before that puts this "you don't get credit for what you didn't do" rule in question.It's called the "no zero" policy.You've heard of "zero tolerance," but what is "no zero"?It's a policy that ties a teacher's hands by prohibiting her from giving zeros to students even for unfinished work.A school in Florida is making news for firing a teacher that refused to abide by the policy. In that school the lowest score a student can receive is 50%.The teacher, Diane Tirado, said hell to the naw. So, instead of giving unearned grades to undeserving students, she wrote this note on the white board for her students to read:"Bye Kids, Mrs. Tirado loves you and wishes you the best in life!
